Key Responsibilities
The incumbent will lead the overall implementation of M&E activities, managing both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis. They will monitor ongoing evaluations, performance tracking, learning initiatives, and capacity-building efforts in the field. Ensuring field activities align with the project implementation plan, the candidate will utilize established M&E tools and procedures to maintain consistency and quality.
Designing operational monitoring tools such as checklists, questionnaires, databases, interviews, and surveys will be a key task. The candidate will collect, enter, and analyze monthly data, guaranteeing accuracy and reliability in line with project requirements. Providing timely feedback to the Producer Unit team on new initiatives and improvements related to M&E is essential.
Data analysis against performance indicators will be conducted to report progress promptly relative to project targets. The role also involves supporting the preparation and finalization of quarterly, annual, and final project reports. Statistical analysis for impact assessments using Excel or similar tools will be required.
Additionally, the candidate will contribute to mid-term and final evaluation processes and support program learning activities. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support project goals.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field and have at least two years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, preferably within development cooperation contexts. A strong understanding of Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) Production principles and criteria is required.
Candidates should have a minimum of one year of supervisory experience, ideally within the agriculture sector. Proven skills in networking, team building, organization, and communication are essential. Experience in Training Needs Assessment (TNA), training design, material development, and training evaluations is also necessary.
The ability to plan and manage work schedules effectively to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure is critical. Willingness to conduct field visits to remote areas in lower Sindh for direct farmer engagement is expected. Strong technical report writing skills are mandatory.

The position reports to the Project Region Coordinator and works closely with Producer Unit Managers and M&E Assistants. The contract duration is three years, including a probation period, and the role is classified at Hay Band 3.
