2D Animator/Editor

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Animator to join our dynamic creative team. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, managers, and directors to fully understand and deliver on the animation needs of various projects. This role involves designing and illustrating frames, creating storyboards, and producing high-quality animations that effectively convey the intended message. The Animator will also be responsible for integrating visual and audio effects, refining animations based on feedback, and staying current with the latest animation techniques to continually enhance their craft.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with clients, managers, directors, and other stakeholders to identify and clarify animation requirements for each project.
- Develop storyboards and present initial ideas and sketches to clients for review and approval.
- Design and illustrate animation frames that simulate movement, bringing characters and scenes to life with creativity and precision.
- Create artwork for backgrounds and layer images appropriately to maintain visual cohesion throughout the animation.
- Present completed animations for review, incorporate feedback, and make necessary edits to ensure the final product meets quality standards.
- Integrate visual and audio effects during post-production to polish animations and prepare them for delivery.
- Research and adopt new animation styles, tools, and techniques to keep skills up to date and maintain a competitive edge.
- Work closely with writers, directors, and clients to align on animation style, methodology, and execution.
- Produce models, drawings, and illustrations that support the overall animation process.
- Design frames and characters, carefully selecting color palettes, styles, and visual themes to enhance storytelling.
- Prepare exposure sheets detailing actions, timing, dialogues, music cues, animation layers, backgrounds, and perspectives.
- Seamlessly integrate characters and images into background graphics to create a cohesive visual experience.
- Synchronize visuals precisely with audio and voiceover tracks to ensure smooth and engaging animation flow.
- Prepare all animation elements for compositing and deliver final assets in the required formats.
- Enhance animations with special effects during post-production using software such as After Effects.
- Perform video editing and 2D animation tasks as needed to support project goals.
- Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the Head of Department to support team objectives.

Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in animation, including storyboarding, frame design, and character creation.
- Proficiency in animation software and post-production tools, with strong skills in After Effects.
- Solid understanding of visual storytelling principles, timing, and synchronization of audio with animation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams and clients to achieve project objectives.
- Excellent communication skills to present ideas clearly and incorporate constructive feedback.
- Willingness and ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Islamabad prior to starting work.

- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs50,000 to Rs70,000.
