Job Summary
We are actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Consultant Ophthalmologist to join our healthcare team in Karachi. The successful candidate will have completed the FCPS in Ophthalmology and possess between one to two years of relevant clinical experience. This full-time role is based in Johar and offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with Sundays off. This schedule is designed to support a healthy work-life balance while providing high-quality ophthalmic care.
Key Responsibilities
The Consultant Ophthalmologist will be responsible for delivering comprehensive ophthalmic consultations and care to patients. This includes diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of eye conditions and diseases. The role requires performing detailed clinical examinations and recommending appropriate medical or surgical treatments based on patient needs. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals is essential to ensure the delivery of coordinated and effective patient care. Additionally, the consultant must maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with PMDC guidelines and standards. Staying informed about the latest advancements and best practices in ophthalmology is critical to continually improving patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have successfully completed the FCPS in Ophthalmology. A minimum of one year of experience working as a Consultant Ophthalmologist is required. Holding a valid PMDC license is mandatory for this position. While a doctorate degree is preferred, it is not a strict requirement. The candidate must be available to work full-time during the specified hours and be willing to work at the Johar location in Karachi.
