Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team, supporting the continuous operations of our inbound contact center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining the network infrastructure to ensure high availability and optimal performance across all contact center systems. This role demands a hands-on professional capable of working in a rotational shift pattern, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support our 24/7 operational environment.

Key Responsibilities
The Network Engineer will maintain and monitor critical network components such as LAN, WAN, VPN, VoIP, firewalls, routers, and switches to guarantee optimal network performance. You will provide tier 2 and tier 3 support for all network-related issues across multiple shifts, ensuring timely resolution of problems. Proactively identifying and resolving network bottlenecks, failures, and performance issues will be essential to minimize downtime and maintain seamless operations.

A key aspect of the role includes ensuring the uptime and availability of contact center voice systems, including platforms like SIP, Asterisk, Avaya, or similar technologies. You will configure and maintain Quality of Service (QoS), VLANs, and traffic routing to prioritize critical voice and data applications effectively.

The position also involves assisting in disaster recovery planning and implementation for network systems to ensure business continuity. Regular network security audits and patch management will be part of your responsibilities to maintain system integrity and protect against vulnerabilities.

Accurate documentation of all network configurations, procedures, and changes is crucial for future reference and operational consistency. You will coordinate with vendors and service providers for troubleshooting and escalation when necessary. Collaboration with call center operations and IT support teams is vital to ensure smooth and uninterrupted service delivery.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 1 to 2 years of proven experience in a similar network engineering role within a 24/7 operational environment is required. This experience should demonstrate your ability to manage complex network infrastructures and support continuous operations effectively.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or their equivalents are highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage. This is a full-time, on-site position offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs45,000 to Rs50,000. The on-site requirement ensures effective management and support of the network infrastructure, enabling quick response times and hands-on troubleshooting.
