Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Export Documentation Officer with 2 to 3 years of experience in a reputable textile company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing export shipments and handling all related banking documentation. This role demands a graduate professional with strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. The position requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, ensuring smooth coordination between export operations and banking processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee export shipments, ensuring all documentation is prepared accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare and process bank documents related to export transactions, maintaining compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Follow up consistently on inward export payments to guarantee prompt receipt and resolution of any payment issues.
- Upload necessary export documents onto the GTC platform, ensuring all records are complete and accessible.
- Prepare detailed calculation sheets that support export transactions and financial reconciliations.
- Liaise effectively with banking institutions to facilitate smooth processing of export payments and related documentation, addressing any discrepancies proactively.
Required Qualifications
- A graduate degree from a recognized institution is mandatory.
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience in export documentation, preferably within the textile industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate efficiently with internal departments and external stakeholders such as banks and freight forwarders.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, with advanced expertise in Excel for preparing reports, calculations, and data management.
- Computer literacy with the ability to manage and maintain documentation systems accurately and efficiently.
