Architect I - SAP APO/IBP and PPDS

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP APO/IBP & PPDS/ePPDS Consultant with over 9 years of specialized expertise to lead and deliver end-to-end SAP implementations across multiple UST India locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of SAP APO, IBP, and PPDS/ePPDS modules, with particular emphasis on S/4HANA ePPDS configuration and customization. This role requires a proven track record of successfully completing at least three full-cycle SAP implementation projects and deep knowledge of CIF integration between APO and ECC/S4 systems. Immediate joiners who can effectively manage large-scale deployments while maintaining excellent client communication and stakeholder engagement will excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage full-cycle SAP APO, IBP, and PPDS/ePPDS implementation projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards. You will be responsible for configuring and customizing S/4HANA ePPDS to align with specific business requirements. A critical aspect of this role involves overseeing CIF (Core Interface) integration processes between APO and ECC/S4 systems to guarantee seamless and accurate data flow.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to integrate SAP Production Planning (PP) module functionalities effectively. The consultant will engage directly with clients, providing clear and consistent communication to manage expectations and report on project progress. Additionally, you will plan and execute large-scale deployments, including project scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure successful outcomes.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have a minimum of 9 years of hands-on experience in SAP APO, IBP, and PPDS/ePPDS implementations. A demonstrated history of completing at least three full-cycle, end-to-end SAP implementation projects is essential. Strong expertise in S/4HANA ePPDS configuration and customization is required, along with an in-depth understanding of CIF integration between APO and ECC/S4 systems.

Sound knowledge of the SAP Production Planning (PP) module is necessary to support integration efforts. The role demands proven leadership skills to manage complex SAP deployment projects effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical, with a strong client-facing orientation. Candidates must be available for immediate joining.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Experience working within Agile or Scrum project environments is highly valued. Exposure to integration with other SAP modules such as Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Quality Management (QM) will be advantageous. SAP certification in IBP or PPDS is strongly preferred and considered a significant asset.

Additional experience with SAP upgrade or migration projects will add further value to the candidate’s profile.
