Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership:
The candidate will promote high standards of teaching and learning by closely monitoring the school’s progress against key performance indicators. She will lead the recruitment of quality teachers through a structured selection process and develop a comprehensive school improvement plan based on a detailed needs analysis. Classroom quality will be regularly assessed through lesson planners and both formal and informal observations. Enhancing teacher performance through demonstration sessions and continuous feedback will be a priority. The role also involves overseeing student performance by reviewing student work and test papers in line with school policies. Additionally, the candidate will organize and supervise co-curricular activities, manage timetables, assemblies, displays, library, laboratories, and academic resources. She will ensure term tests and examinations are conducted transparently and punctually. Participation in training sessions and providing on-the-job training to faculty members is essential. Building team spirit, motivating teachers, and focusing on teacher retention are critical components of this role.
Administrative Management:
The candidate will establish strong relationships with the community to promote education for both boys and girls and encourage school enrolment. Maintaining the required student strength through effective enrolment strategies is vital. She will manage outreach efforts for teacher recruitment and maintain an updated CV bank. Coordination with Area and Regional HR teams regarding hiring, retention, performance management, and other HR matters is required. The role includes maintaining discipline and encouraging positive character development among students and staff. Managing staff attendance and leave to minimize classroom disruptions is also part of the responsibilities. Supervision of administrative assistants handling accounts and other operational tasks will be expected. The candidate will ensure accurate management and documentation of school accounts. Overseeing maintenance of school buildings and premises, including timely supply and management of utilities, is necessary. Coordination with supervisors on board-related matters and ensuring compliance with organizational policies, along with timely submission of reports and documentation, completes the administrative duties.
Required Qualifications
- Female candidates aged between 25 and 45 years.
- Minimum educational qualification: Graduate degree (BSc, BA, BCom, BPA).
- At least 3 years of teaching experience.
- Minimum 2 years in a leadership role such as Principal, Vice-Principal, Incharge, Coordinator, or Non-School Management.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Professional degree such as B-Ed or M-Ed is preferred.
- This is a full-time, on-site position; remote work is not available.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 34,000 to Rs. 40,000.
