Job Summary
Ihsan Sons Pvt. Limited is looking for a seasoned Manager to lead the Knitting Production department within its Gloves Section. This full-time, on-site position is based in the S.I.T.E area of Karachi and offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 125,000 to Rs. 150,000. The ideal candidate will be a graduate with 6 to 8 years of substantial experience in the textile industry, particularly in socks, gloves, or knitting sectors. The role demands strong leadership and production management capabilities to oversee multiple production stages, including cutting, stitching, and packing, while ensuring stringent quality standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
The Manager will be responsible for managing all production areas, ensuring smooth operations across cutting, stitching, and packing departments. A critical part of the role involves overseeing production planning for over 300 knitting machines, optimizing workflows based on raw material availability to meet shipment deadlines efficiently.

Ensuring the timely production of high-quality products aligned with shipment schedules is essential. The Manager will supervise, motivate, and lead the production team and workers to achieve operational targets and maintain productivity.

Effective management of orders, shipments, and production planning according to shipment deadlines is required to maintain seamless operations. The role also includes continuously identifying and implementing cost optimization strategies, particularly related to dyeing processes, resource utilization, and utility expenses.

Staying updated on industry best practices and collaborating with colleagues to drive qualitative improvements in production processes is expected. Additionally, managing machine maintenance costs to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability forms a key part of the responsibilities.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A minimum of 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in the socks, gloves, or knitting industry is mandatory.

Strong communication skills and proven leadership abilities are essential to effectively manage teams and production operations. The candidate should demonstrate a track record of successfully handling production planning and quality control in a textile manufacturing environment.
