RPA Business Analyst

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled RPA Business Analyst to act as a vital bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. In this role, you will identify automation opportunities and define comprehensive requirements to ensure Robotic Process Automation (RPA) initiatives deliver measurable business value. You will collaborate closely with multiple departments to gain a deep understanding of their processes and challenges, facilitating clear communication and driving projects that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
You will serve as the primary liaison between business units and technical teams, translating business needs into detailed RPA requirements. By analyzing current business processes and workflows, you will identify areas ripe for automation. Your responsibilities include defining and documenting both functional and non-functional requirements for RPA solutions to ensure clarity and alignment.

Supporting the development and deployment of RPA projects will be a key part of your role. This includes gathering requirements, coordinating and executing user acceptance testing (UAT), and conducting return on investment (ROI) analyses to validate project benefits. You will utilize BPMN tools such as Visio and Lucidchart to map, analyze, and optimize business processes, ensuring that automation efforts are well-targeted and efficient.

Project management tasks will involve tracking progress and managing tasks using tools like JIRA, working within Agile or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate. Throughout the project lifecycle, you will collaborate with stakeholders to maintain alignment, manage expectations, and address any challenges that arise. Additionally, you will prepare and deliver presentations and reports to communicate findings, progress updates, and final outcomes to various audiences.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline. A minimum of three years’ experience as a Business Analyst is required, preferably within the banking sector. Proven experience with RPA projects is essential, including expertise in requirements gathering, UAT, and ROI analysis.

You should demonstrate strong proficiency with BPMN tools such as Visio and Lucidchart, as these are critical for process mapping and optimization. Familiarity with project management and issue tracking platforms like JIRA is also necessary. Experience working within both Agile and Waterfall project management frameworks is expected.

A solid understanding of banking processes, including Know Your Customer (KYC), Reconciliation, and Loan Processing, is crucial to effectively identify automation opportunities and deliver relevant solutions.
