Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Specialist in DFS Technology Operations to join our vibrant support and monitoring team based in Islamabad. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing 24/7 operational support for Digital Financial Services (DFS) platforms, ensuring uninterrupted business operations by continuously monitoring system health and swiftly troubleshooting application issues. Key Responsibilities
The Specialist will be responsible for round-the-clock system and application monitoring to maintain platform stability and reliability. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, conducting regular health checks, and tracking incidents to guarantee timely resolution. Analyzing system performance data to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements will be a key part of the role.

Managing backups, overseeing scheduled tasks, and applying critical updates on live systems to uphold operational integrity are essential duties. The role requires close collaboration with both vendors and internal technical teams to resolve issues promptly and effectively.

The candidate will also leverage cloud-native technologies such as OpenShift and Kubernetes, alongside APIs and microservices, to support and enhance platform operations. Driving automation initiatives and contributing to continuous process improvements will be important to streamline workflows and increase productivity.

Required Qualifications
Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. Candidates with 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in technology operations or support roles will be considered.

Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix operating systems and database management systems, including Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB, is required. Proficiency in SQL for database querying and management is essential. Familiarity with cloud-native environments and integration tools will be highly beneficial.

Strong analytical skills, combined with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, are critical for success in this role.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
