Reach Truck Operator

Job Summary
We are looking for a competent Reach Truck Operator to become an integral part of our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of ice cream pallets within the warehouse, ensuring precise placement and retrieval from storage racks. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the loading process and requires strict adherence to safety protocols, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with cold store personnel to maintain a seamless and secure operational environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate a reach truck to transport ice cream pallets throughout the warehouse efficiently and safely.
- Accurately place pallets in designated racks following stacker instructions to optimize storage space and accessibility.
- Conduct daily inspections of the reach truck, completing checklists to ensure the equipment is in safe working condition.
- Stack freshly produced ice cream pallets from the palletising area onto racks, maintaining order and stability.
- Unstack ice cream pallets from racks and place them on the ground for the loading team to transfer into delivery vehicles.
- Assist in keeping the work environment clean and safe, both inside and outside the cold storage facility.
- Work closely with cold store staff to support operational goals and maintain smooth workflow.
- Comply with all safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and company policies to ensure a safe workplace.

Required Qualifications
- Completion of High School education is mandatory.
- Proven experience operating a reach truck or similar warehouse machinery is preferred to ensure familiarity with equipment handling and safety.
- Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and maintain safety standards consistently.
- Strong attention to detail with the capability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Comfortable working in cold storage environments, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

- Employment Type: Full-time
- Salary Range: Rs40,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
- Work Location: On-site, within the warehouse and cold storage facility
