Power BI Developer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled BI Developer to join our team and take ownership of designing, developing, and maintaining robust data integration processes that ensure data accuracy and consistency across the organization. In this role, you will build standardized reporting frameworks and empower business users with self-service visualization tools, enabling them to derive actionable insights. Success in this position requires a blend of strong technical expertise, analytical problem-solving, and the ability to communicate complex data narratives clearly to support strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering:
You will design and implement ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) workflows to consolidate data from multiple sources into a single, reliable source of truth. Maintaining data integrity is critical, so you will perform data cleansing and standardization activities regularly. Additionally, you will develop aggregations and calculations for key performance indicators (KPIs) to fulfill reporting and analytics requirements.

Data Modeling:
Create and maintain dimensional data models that optimize reporting efficiency and analytical capabilities. You will standardize data structures to enhance usability and accessibility for various teams across the organization, ensuring consistent data interpretation.

Reporting and Visualization:
Develop descriptive reports and interactive dashboards using leading BI tools, aligning outputs with business goals. You will also enable self-service data visualization options for end-users, empowering them to explore data independently. Providing training sessions and ongoing support to business teams on BI tools and best practices will be an essential part of your role.

Business Analysis:
Collaborate closely with product, growth, and other cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver insightful analyses. Use storytelling techniques to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations that drive commercial, financial, and strategic decision-making.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a BI Developer, Data Engineer, or in a similar data-focused role.
- Proficiency with data integration tools, Microsoft Fabrics, Dynamics 360, and ETL processes.
