Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Temenos Implementation Specialist to spearhead the deployment, configuration, and optimization of Temenos Core Banking (T24/Transact) solutions. This critical role ensures smooth system implementation that aligns with our banking operations and strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise with Temenos modules, a deep understanding of banking processes, and proven experience managing end-to-end core banking transformations. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, technology partners, and Temenos consultants to deliver impactful solutions that accelerate our digital transformation journey.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full lifecycle implementation of Temenos Transact (T24) modules, including Accounts, Lending, and Payments. You will translate complex business requirements into effective system configurations and customizations that meet operational needs. Working cross-functionally with IT, Risk, Operations, and other departments, you will ensure that the platform’s capabilities align with business objectives and regulatory standards.
Manage critical activities such as data migration, system integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to guarantee a seamless rollout. Post-implementation, provide ongoing support by monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal functionality.
Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfers for both business users and technical teams to facilitate smooth adoption and maximize system utilization. Maintain compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and security policies throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, technical specifications, and user manuals. Coordinate with Temenos support teams for system upgrades, patches, and issue resolution to keep the platform current and stable.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field is required. Candidates should have between 3 to 7 years of experience in Temenos T24/Transact implementation, support, or enhancement projects.
A strong understanding of core banking operations and the lifecycle of banking products is essential. Practical experience with Temenos modules such as Core, Arrangement Architecture (AA), Funds Transfer, or Lending is expected.
Familiarity with tools like IRIS, TAFC/TAFJ, and Temenos Design Studio is important. Working knowledge of SQL, Java, or jBASE is considered a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and experience managing stakeholders are critical. The ability to work independently and lead cross-functional project teams effectively is required.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Temenos Certified Associate or Professional credentials are highly desirable. Experience with Temenos Infinity or other digital banking platforms will add significant value.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies is a plus, as is experience working with banks in the MENA or APAC regions.
