Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven professional to lead client acquisition and project onboarding primarily through platforms such as Upwork, alongside other freelance and direct sourcing channels. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in securing and managing digital projects, a strong understanding of technical service offerings, and exceptional communication and negotiation skills. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively connect client needs with internal technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue relevant projects on Upwork and similar freelance platforms, aligning opportunities with the company’s core strengths and strategic goals. Develop tailored proposals and presentations that clearly communicate the company’s value proposition to potential clients.

Conduct thorough market and competitor analyses to discover new business opportunities and refine outreach strategies. Work closely with internal technical teams to evaluate project feasibility, prepare accurate cost estimates, and ensure smooth transitions after contract signing.

Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and conversion by employing strategic follow-ups and maintaining high performance. Keep detailed, up-to-date records of sales activities in CRM systems, providing timely and accurate reports to management.

Optimize company profiles on Upwork and other platforms to improve visibility, build client trust, and increase inbound inquiries. Represent the company professionally in virtual meetings, negotiations, and all client communications.

Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing client accounts to maximize revenue potential and foster long-term client relationships.

Required Qualifications
A minimum of three years’ experience in business development, preferably within the IT or digital services sector. Hands-on experience working with freelancing and service marketplaces such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, or similar platforms is essential.

Strong knowledge of digital services including web development, SEO, design, and UI/UX is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are a must.

Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships, negotiate effectively, and close deals successfully. The candidate should be self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. Having an existing client base or network within the digital services industry will be considered a strong advantage.

Proficiency in CRM and project management tools such as Trello or Asana is desirable. Familiarity with contract negotiation, pricing strategies, and best practices in proposal writing will enhance the candidate’s effectiveness in this role.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Gulberg Greens, Islamabad. The role requires in-person attendance and offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on digital services growth and client success.
