Job Summary
This entry-level position is designed for recent graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience in computer software, hardware, or related technical fields. The role focuses on delivering technical support by diagnosing and resolving customer issues involving software, hardware, databases, and network configurations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple technical problems simultaneously, communicating effectively with clients, and ensuring timely resolution while maintaining strong, positive client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Take full ownership of customer-reported issues, seeing each case through to resolution. Utilize your knowledge of MS SQL Server, MySQL, database management, deployments, and scripting to troubleshoot and resolve problems efficiently. Manage IIS Server tasks, including site management and SSL certificate handling, ensuring smooth server operations.

Research and diagnose software and hardware system issues, applying analytical skills to identify root causes. Follow established escalation procedures for unresolved issues, collaborating closely with internal teams such as software developers when necessary. Diagnose technical problems related to account setup and network configurations by asking targeted questions to uncover underlying issues.

Track and document all computer system issues meticulously until resolution, adhering to agreed timelines. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients via phone, email, or chat, guiding them through troubleshooting steps and ensuring they understand the solutions provided. Ensure all issues are properly logged and documented for future reference.

Effectively prioritize and manage multiple open issues simultaneously, maintaining organization and focus under pressure. Follow up with clients after troubleshooting to confirm that systems are fully functional and client satisfaction is achieved. Prepare accurate and timely reports, maintaining technical documentation such as notes and manuals to support ongoing knowledge sharing.

Foster positive and professional relationships with clients throughout the support process, ensuring a high level of customer service and trust.

Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in computer software, hardware, or a related field is essential. Candidates should have up to one year of relevant work experience. Proficiency in spoken English is required to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.

A strong understanding of software and operating systems is necessary, along with excellent communication skills, including active listening and effective questioning techniques. The ability to interact confidently with clients, diagnose problems accurately, and explain solutions clearly is critical.

Candidates must be detail-oriented with proven problem-solving abilities. Being a team player with a positive attitude is also important to thrive in this role.
