We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Recruiter to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will take charge of talent acquisition across various departments, playing a vital role in sourcing and attracting top talent to support our ongoing expansion.
Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Recruiter at MarkelTree, you will manage the entire recruitment lifecycle for all open positions. This includes creating and posting job advertisements, screening candidates, conducting initial interviews, and extending job offers. You will work closely with department leaders to gain a clear understanding of their hiring needs and role specifications.
Your sourcing efforts will involve leveraging multiple platforms such as job boards like Indeed and LinkedIn, social media channels, and employee referral programs to identify potential candidates. You will conduct preliminary interviews to shortlist qualified applicants for further assessment by hiring managers.
Maintaining an organized candidate pipeline is essential, ensuring timely communication and feedback throughout the recruitment process. You will coordinate interview schedules, facilitate offer discussions, and oversee pre-boarding activities to guarantee a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate recruitment records and preparing weekly reports for management to track hiring progress and metrics.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have between six months to one year of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition. A strong understanding of sourcing techniques and candidate identification strategies is necessary. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to effectively engage with both candidates and internal stakeholders.
The ability to manage multiple recruitment assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is critical. Proficiency in English is required for this role.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Experience recruiting for sales, marketing, or technology roles will be considered an advantage. Familiarity with labor laws and recruitment best practices is also desirable.
MarkelTree offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment that fosters professional development and continuous learning. The position comes with a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 45,000, supplemented by performance-based incentives.
This is a full-time, on-site role requiring a 9-hour workday from Monday to Friday, with working hours from 12 PM to 9 PM.
