Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
The Junior Accountant will be responsible for managing daily bookkeeping and accounting operations primarily using QuickBooks. This includes recording journal entries and ensuring the general ledger is maintained accurately. The role involves handling accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently. Preparing bank reconciliations and monthly financial statements is a key part of the job. Additionally, the candidate will assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Supporting internal audits and performing financial analysis as required will also be part of the responsibilities. Effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders in fluent English is essential to ensure smooth financial operations. Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring timely financial reporting are vital to the role’s success.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. They should have 1 to 2 years of relevant accounting experience and demonstrate proficiency in QuickBooks, whether Online or Desktop versions. A strong understanding of accounting principles is necessary, along with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
