Sr. AI Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer to join our innovative team at PureLogics. In this role, you will spearhead the design, development, testing, and deployment of advanced AI and machine learning solutions, with a particular emphasis on large language models (LLMs). You will play a critical role in automating and optimizing business processes by building AI-driven systems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients is essential, as is leading projects and mentoring junior engineers in a fast-paced, research-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy sophisticated AI systems and algorithms to solve complex business challenges and enhance operational efficiency. You will train, fine-tune, and optimize AI and LLM models tailored to specific tasks. Developing intelligent web crawling and AI-powered scraping tools to extract structured data from public sources will be a key part of your work. You will also process and organize this data for chatbot integration and further analysis.

Building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows to support AI applications is essential. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify AI opportunities and deliver impactful solutions. Client engagement is a critical aspect, requiring you to gather requirements and effectively communicate AI strategies.

Your role includes constructing data collection, preprocessing, and analysis pipelines for model training and evaluation. Conducting experiments and statistical analyses to assess algorithm performance will inform continuous improvement. You will implement, deploy, and maintain AI models in production environments while ensuring adherence to MLOps best practices, including monitoring and lifecycle management.

Managing containerization and deployment using Docker, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, and mentoring junior team members are also vital responsibilities in this dynamic, research-driven setting.

Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python with strong experience in PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Hands-on experience with Hugging Face Transformers.
- Deep understanding of Neural Networks, CNNs, Transformers, and traditional machine learning algorithms.
- Experience with AI-powered scraping frameworks such as Scrapy (with NLP filtering), Selenium (with AI logic), or Diffbot.
- Strong knowledge of data pipelines, ETL processes, and tools like Airflow or Spark.
- Familiarity with vector databases including FAISS, Pinecone, Qdrant, or ChromaDB.
- Experience developing REST APIs using FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Skilled in LLM orchestration tools like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Chain-of-Thought reasoning techniques.
- Proficient in containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Excellent communication skills for leading client discussions and technical teams.
- Strong grasp of object-oriented and functional programming principles.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in AI strategy, solution design, and data modeling.
- At least 4 years of overall professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience in Spatial Data Science, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or Computer Vision is highly desirable. Familiarity with Big Data tools such as PySpark, AWS EMR, or GCP BigQuery will be advantageous. Knowledge of MLOps platforms like SageMaker, AzureML, or Vertex AI, and workflow orchestration tools including Kubeflow or Airflow, is preferred.

Experience integrating scraped datasets into chatbot or NLP systems, along with an understanding of prompt engineering and document ingestion strategies, will set you apart. Familiarity with Kubernetes, serverless architectures, distributed systems, Graph Databases, and Knowledge Graphs is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to recommend innovative solutions and guide technical direction are essential.
