Senior PHP Developer

Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer with 3 to 5 years of professional experience to join our on-site night shift team in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. This full-time position operates from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM and offers an excellent opportunity to work on dynamic projects within a collaborative Agile environment. Key Responsibilities
The Senior PHP Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining web applications primarily using PHP and MySQL. You will work extensively with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Node.js to create scalable and efficient solutions. Integration and customization of shopping cart systems like Magento and WooCommerce will be a key part of your role.

On the frontend, you will utilize technologies including AJAX, jQuery, and React.js to enhance user experience. Implementing responsive designs using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and Tailwind CSS will also be essential. Managing payment gateway integrations and third-party APIs efficiently is expected to ensure seamless functionality.

Maintaining high code quality through secure coding practices and thorough documentation is critical. You will collaborate closely within a real Agile team, actively participating in sprint planning and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong problem-solving skills are necessary to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges independently.

Additionally, the role demands leadership qualities and a positive, cooperative attitude to foster a productive team environment.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of professional experience in PHP development with strong proficiency in MySQL database management. Hands-on experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel and CodeIgniter is essential.

Experience working with shopping cart platforms like Magento and WooCommerce is required. A solid understanding of frontend technologies including AJAX, jQuery, React.js, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and Tailwind CSS is necessary to fulfill the role effectively.

Familiarity with payment gateway and third-party API integrations is expected. The ability to write clean, secure, and well-documented code is mandatory.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, are vital. Candidates must be willing to work night shifts from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM on-site.

A positive attitude, cooperative nature, and demonstrated leadership qualities are important. Experience working in an Agile development environment is also required.
