Job Summary
Leaders Training Centre, based in Doha, Qatar, is looking for a meticulous and analytical finance professional to join our team as an Accountant / Financial Controller. This full-time, on-site role demands a candidate with a strong audit background, ideally from a top-tier firm, combined with proven administrative and financial management skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the organization’s financial systems, including accounting, internal controls, reporting, and budgeting, while actively contributing to improving operational efficiency across departments.

Key Responsibilities
The Accountant / Financial Controller will prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data. You will lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion. A critical part of the role involves developing and implementing robust internal financial controls and compliance policies to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory adherence.

You will also play a key role in audit readiness, facilitating smooth and efficient audit processes with external auditors. Monitoring cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasting will be essential to support sound financial planning. Compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards, such as IFRS, is mandatory.

Supporting management decision-making through timely and precise financial data analysis will be a core responsibility. Additionally, you will oversee vendor payments, coordinate payroll activities, and manage expense control to maintain financial discipline. Collaboration with various departments will be necessary to address operational and finance-related matters, ensuring seamless communication and alignment. Maintaining proper documentation and accounting records is vital to guarantee transparency and audit compliance.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience is required, preferably including exposure to or employment at a top audit firm. Deep knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and audit procedures is essential.

Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho, and advanced Excel skills are required to efficiently manage financial data. Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management abilities are crucial to succeed in this role. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory. Candidates should currently be based in Qatar or be willing to relocate on short notice.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Candidates with ACCA or CMA qualifications, whether fully or partially completed, will be given preference. Experience in financial audit is highly desirable, adding value to the candidate’s profile.

The position offers a competitive monthly salary of up to QAR 25,000 (approximately Rs 250,000), reflecting the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
