Content Writer (Paid Internship)

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer to join our team located in Gulberg 3, Lahore. This full-time internship position offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate storyteller who excels at producing high-quality written content tailored for various audiences and platforms. Reporting directly to the Content Manager within the Marketing, Communications, and Content team, the successful candidate will collaborate across departments to develop content that supports marketing initiatives, boosts SEO performance, drives audience engagement, and reinforces our brand voice.

Key Responsibilities
The Content Writer will be responsible for researching, writing, and editing clear and compelling content across multiple formats, including websites, blogs, social media posts, email campaigns, press releases, and whitepapers. Close collaboration with marketing, design, and product teams is essential to ensure all content aligns with the company’s business goals and overall strategy.

A key part of the role involves optimizing content for search engines (SEO) and enhancing user experience (UX) to maximize reach and engagement. The candidate will also proofread and edit materials to maintain accuracy, consistency, and adherence to the brand’s tone and style guidelines.

Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content creation, SEO, and digital marketing is vital. The role requires conducting keyword research and applying SEO guidelines effectively to increase web traffic. Additionally, managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines is a critical responsibility.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or in a similar role is required. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail are essential.

Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress is expected. A solid understanding of SEO best practices and current digital marketing trends is necessary to succeed in this role. The ability to conduct thorough research and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines is also important.

Preferred Qualifications
Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong storytelling skills, capable of creating clear, engaging, and concise scripts that maintain audience interest from beginning to end. Proficiency with AI writing tools such as ChatGPT and Murf.AI is highly desirable, enabling the candidate to generate content, refine scripts, and enhance voiceovers efficiently.

An understanding of video pacing and tone for narration is beneficial, including the ability to adapt written scripts into natural-sounding voiceovers, whether human or AI-generated. Expertise in crafting SEO-friendly and catchy titles, descriptions, and tags for video platforms like YouTube is a plus, with a focus on keyword integration to maximize visibility.

Exceptional attention to detail in proofreading and editing is critical to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in both written content and voiceover scripts, preventing errors in final outputs.
