Job Summary

A well-established London-based IT company, renowned for delivering exceptional IT support to small businesses within the UK financial sector, is seeking a skilled IT Support Analyst. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients requiring expert assistance or advice on their IT needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing prompt, knowledgeable support that aligns with the company’s commitment to high-quality service. Beyond technical expertise, strong communication skills are essential to effectively understand client requirements and convey solutions clearly. The company prides itself on tailoring IT solutions to meet specific client demands while maintaining strict confidentiality and excellent organizational standards. Key Responsibilities

- Monitor anti-virus software daily to ensure all client devices are connected to the Anti-Virus portal. Confirm that the portal application is up to date on all devices, pushing necessary updates without causing system reboots. Promptly investigate and resolve any devices flagged with critical alerts. Maintain an accurate and detailed spreadsheet tracking device statuses and actions taken.

- Manage incoming phone calls by collecting comprehensive information about user issues, providing immediate solutions where possible, or escalating appropriately. Handle support emails by remotely accessing user devices to diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently.

- Maintain thorough logs of all reported incidents and their resolutions within the company’s tracking system to ensure transparency and continuity of support.

- Provide expert support and troubleshooting for Microsoft Office applications, with a particular focus on Outlook, addressing user queries and resolving issues promptly.

- Demonstrate a solid understanding of hardware and software configurations across PCs, laptops, and Macs to accurately diagnose and resolve technical problems.

- Collaborate closely with team members to refine support processes and identify critical areas requiring focused attention, contributing to continuous service improvement.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Between 2 to 3 years of experience in IT support roles, preferably within a client-facing environment.

- Strong knowledge of operating systems and fundamental networking concepts.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, effective time management, and outstanding communication abilities.

- Proficiency in spoken and written English, with formal education completed in English.

- Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 services; familiarity with ESET Security Services is a plus but not mandatory.

- Proven experience in PC repairs and hardware builds.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Working hours vary seasonally: Winter hours are from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Summer hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

- Preferred candidate location is Rawalpindi or Islamabad.

- This is a full-time role offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs120,000 to Rs140,000.
