Key Responsibilities
The Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining precise and up-to-date financial records of all transactions. The role also involves preparing income tax returns and GST/HST filings in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, the candidate will analyze financial data to detect trends, discrepancies, or potential areas for improvement. Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. While ACCA or CA certifications are preferred, applicants currently pursuing these qualifications are encouraged to apply. A minimum of one year of experience in accounting or bookkeeping is desirable; however, fresh graduates with a strong academic background and eagerness to learn will also be considered. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is essential to effectively perform daily tasks and reporting duties.
