Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented professional to oversee daily sales transactions and lead our sales team in a fast-paced retail environment. The successful candidate will ensure smooth and accurate checkout processes, maintain precise transaction records, and deliver outstanding customer service. This role demands strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to efficiently manage various customer-related tasks while motivating the sales team to achieve targets.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all customer transactions using cash registers, ensuring that goods are scanned correctly and pricing is accurate. You will be responsible for processing payments via cash or credit cards, issuing receipts, refunds, and change as required. A key part of the role involves cross-selling products and introducing new items to customers to maximize sales opportunities.
Promptly resolve customer complaints by providing helpful guidance and sharing relevant product or store information. Greet customers warmly as they enter and leave the store to foster a welcoming shopping environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area to enhance the overall customer experience.
Keep detailed records of transactions by tracking them on balance sheets and reporting any discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy. Handle packaging requests such as bagging, boxing, or gift-wrapping items according to customer preferences. Efficiently process merchandise returns and exchanges in line with store policies.
Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining high performance standards. Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock accuracy and availability, supporting smooth store operations.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have proven experience in retail sales or cashier roles with a strong emphasis on customer service. Proficiency in managing cash registers and handling multiple payment methods accurately is essential. Strong problem-solving skills are required to effectively address and resolve customer complaints.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to engage positively with both customers and team members. Leadership abilities are important to guide and support the sales team. Attention to detail is critical for maintaining accurate transaction records and performing thorough inventory audits. The role requires the ability to work full-time on-site in a retail setting.

Experience in inventory management and sales team leadership is highly desirable and will be considered an advantage. We offer a competitive monthly salary starting from Rs25,000.00.
