Dotnet Consultant

Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and experienced .NET Developer/Consultant with 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining web-based applications using Microsoft technologies. The successful candidate will have strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET (MVC/Core), and SQL Server, with a proven track record of delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities
Developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications using ASP.NET (MVC/Core), C#, and related Microsoft technologies will be your primary focus. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and refine application requirements, ensuring that solutions align with business needs. Designing and implementing RESTful APIs and backend services to support application functionality is a critical part of this role.

You will write clean, scalable, and efficient code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards. Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing application performance to maintain reliability and responsiveness will also be essential. Active participation in code reviews is expected to uphold high-quality code standards and foster knowledge sharing within the team.

Additionally, you will work extensively with SQL Server and other relational database management systems to design, develop, and manage robust database solutions. Staying updated with emerging technologies and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the development team will be encouraged.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. You should have 4 to 6 years of practical experience in .NET development, specifically with C#, ASP.NET MVC/Core, and Entity Framework.

Proven experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs is essential. Strong proficiency in SQL Server, along with a solid understanding of database design principles, is required. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery will be beneficial.

Experience with version control systems like Git or Team Foundation Server (TFS) is necessary. A deep understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns is critical to succeed in this role. Excellent problem-solving skills, combined with strong verbal and written communication abilities, are also important.
