Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update accurate financial records for the organization, ensuring data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of comprehensive financial statements and periodic reports.
- Perform detailed financial analyses on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to track performance.
- Ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards and regulatory compliance at all times.
- Reconcile accounts regularly and promptly resolve any discrepancies identified.
- Support the implementation and enhancement of accounting systems and internal processes.
- Provide assistance during tax filing procedures, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Oversee all financial aspects related to projects, including budgeting and expense tracking.
- Prepare and process payroll, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Handle monthly employee tax filings in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Submit monthly project files and financial reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate closely with project staff and the lead management team to facilitate smooth financial operations.
- Develop project budgets and conduct variance analyses to monitor financial performance against plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 1-2 years of proven experience in accounting or a similar financial role.
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all financial tasks.
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines consistently.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualification is considered an advantage.
- This is a full-time, in-person position offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs 60,000 to Rs 75,000.
