Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales operations across the construction, paints, and FMCG sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting and executing effective sales strategies, managing distribution and retail channels, and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders such as contractors, architects, paint shops, construction firms, and FMCG retailers. This role demands a proactive mindset to uncover new business opportunities and maintain a consistent market presence through regular field visits and close collaboration with marketing and supply chain teams.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement area-specific sales strategies aimed at achieving monthly and annual sales targets. You will oversee distribution and retail channels throughout your assigned territory, ensuring optimal market coverage and product availability. Building and sustaining strong relationships with contractors, architects, paint shops, construction firms, and FMCG retailers will be crucial to driving sales growth.

Identifying new business prospects and onboarding clients to expand the customer base is a key part of this role. You will monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to maintain a competitive advantage. Leading, training, and motivating a sales team within the region will help enhance overall team performance.

Regular field visits are essential to ensure product visibility, availability, and active customer engagement. Coordination with marketing and supply chain departments will be necessary to guarantee timely product delivery and effective brand promotion. Additionally, you will prepare accurate sales forecasts and performance reports, providing valuable market feedback to senior management.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have at least 4 years of sales experience in the construction, paints, or FMCG industries, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills are essential.

A deep understanding of local market dynamics and distribution networks is required. The ability to lead and manage a small sales team effectively, even under pressure, is critical. Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is expected, and familiarity with CRM systems is considered an advantage. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience working directly with paint dealers, construction contractors, or retailers is highly desirable. Candidates with in-depth knowledge of local distributor and dealer networks will have an edge. The role requires frequent travel within the assigned territory to maintain strong client relationships and ensure market presence.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs100,000 to Rs120,000. The role requires in-person attendance at the designated location.
