Job Summary
XAutonomous is seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our growing team in Bahria Town, Karachi. This full-time, in-person role involves producing and editing high-quality video content that supports our marketing initiatives, training programs, and corporate events. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with marketing and creative teams to ensure all video projects align with brand standards and campaign objectives. Transportation is provided from multiple key locations, making commuting convenient for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and producing a wide range of video content, including promotional videos, social media clips, training tutorials, and event coverage. You will work hand-in-hand with marketing and creative teams to develop engaging video concepts that adhere to brand guidelines and campaign goals. Enhancing videos by integrating graphics, animations, music, sound effects, and other visual elements will be a core part of your role.

Managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards is essential. Staying updated with the latest industry trends and video editing tools will allow you to bring fresh and innovative ideas to our projects. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain organized files and ensure proper asset management for all video content.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should ideally hold a Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Design, or a related field. A professional background of 2 to 3 years in video editing is required. Proficiency with industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent platforms is essential.

Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation is important, with experience in After Effects or similar software considered a strong advantage. A keen storytelling ability, combined with a sharp eye for visual composition and detail, is necessary to create compelling video content. Familiarity with color grading and sound editing techniques is also required.

Understanding the nuances of social media platforms and the ability to tailor content specifically for each platform is critical. Excellent organizational and time-management skills are a must to handle multiple projects efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience in filming with cameras and a basic understanding of lighting setups will be considered a plus. Applicants with a portfolio showcasing their creative video editing work are highly encouraged to apply, as this will demonstrate their skills and creativity.
