Within Contour, the Jonas Software division focuses on enterprise management software across 17 vertical industries. Jonas Club ERP, utilized by over 2,200 clubs in 17 countries, empowers organizations to improve member engagement, boost revenue, and optimize costs. We are currently looking for a Trainee Software Developer to join our global R&D team. This role offers a structured training program with the potential to transition into full-time employment at any of our Pakistan offices.

Key Responsibilities
As a Trainee Software Developer, you will actively participate in the entire software development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. You will collaborate closely with the onshore R&D team as part of our resource-center model to deliver high-quality software solutions.

You will apply Object Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to develop and enhance software components. The role involves working with technologies such as ASP.NET, Angular, SQL Server, and RESTful APIs to build scalable and efficient applications. You will analyze problems, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions to ensure software reliability.

Continuous learning is a key part of this role, as you will adapt to various technology stacks and software engineering best practices. Effective communication with team members and stakeholders is essential to ensure clarity on project requirements and progress. Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment are critical for success.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should hold a university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Recent graduates or soon-to-be graduates in Computer Science or Software Engineering are encouraged to apply.

A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and practical experience with programming are essential. Strong skills in Object Oriented Programming are required, along with proficiency in ASP.NET, Angular, and SQL Server. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and various application architectures is also important.

Applicants must demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are necessary to effectively collaborate within the team. The ability to learn quickly, work independently or as part of a team, and maintain high attention to detail is expected. Knowledge of professional software engineering standards and practices will be advantageous.
