Job Summary
British American Tobacco (BAT) Pakistan is rapidly evolving into a global multi-category business, introducing innovative products like VELO, VUSE, and GLO. Currently, BAT Pakistan offers an exciting opportunity for a Research Executive on a six-month third-party contract. This role is integral to the Insights team, focusing on driving consumer, customer, and competitor insights across both Combustibles and New Categories. The Research Executive will support the execution of the insights plan, manage consumer research projects, and deliver actionable insights that enable consumer-centric business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
The Research Executive will play a vital role in embedding consumer perspectives into marketing strategies by conducting both qualitative and quantitative research. This includes analyzing data and consolidating insights and recommendations to inform decision-making. The role involves gathering market context and preparing detailed consumer insight reports aligned with business objectives.

Managing consumer research projects and syndicated studies is a core responsibility, ensuring outputs are delivered on time and meet quality standards. The Research Executive must effectively prioritize tasks to meet tight project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Supporting end-to-end research project management is essential, including designing questionnaires, programming surveys, and overseeing execution. The ability to translate complex data into impactful insights and foresights is critical, with findings communicated clearly through reports and presentations to internal stakeholders.

The role also requires aggregating and synthesizing data from multiple studies and sources to support insight generation. Maintaining organized information systems, internal data repositories, and research reports for easy access across the organization is expected.

Proactive engagement with research agencies, budget holders, and cross-functional teams is necessary to foster strong partnerships. Additionally, the Research Executive should identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Psychology, Analytics, or a related field. A minimum of three years’ experience in market research or consumer insights roles is required, with proven expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.

Strong analytical skills are essential, including the ability to synthesize information, identify trends, and uncover key opportunities. Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel), Power BI, and Python is expected.

Experience in project management, with excellent planning and prioritization abilities, is important. Candidates must also demonstrate strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
