Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Accountant to join our finance team in Karachi. This full-time, onsite role requires working night shifts and offers a unique opportunity to play a vital role in maintaining the company’s financial health. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate financial record-keeping, preparing detailed financial reports, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting the company’s financial planning and decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain precise financial records, including the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll processing.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements such as profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy and consistency of financial data across all accounts.
- Utilize QuickBooks for invoicing, payment processing, and generating financial reports.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and conducting variance analysis to support financial planning.
- Ensure strict compliance with local tax laws, accounting standards, and internal company policies.
- Process invoices and payments efficiently while maintaining proper documentation and internal controls.
- Support tax filing processes and assist during audits as required.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, including skills in financial modeling and reporting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong analytical abilities.
- Familiarity with local tax laws and compliance requirements is advantageous.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
