Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced medical professional for a full-time position as a Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to oversee patient care within our hospital. This role involves managing both in-patient and out-patient treatments, ensuring patients receive seamless and efficient medical services throughout their visit. The successful candidate will actively participate in emergency responses, assist consultants with life support procedures, and perform comprehensive medical examinations and diagnoses. Additionally, the RMO will supervise hospital operations and collaborate closely with fellow RMOs to maintain continuous patient care. This on-site position is set to commence on July 1, 2025, offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs50,000 to Rs65,000.
Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibility is to supervise patients admitted as in-patients or visiting as out-patients, ensuring their medical care is smooth and hassle-free. The RMO must respond promptly to emergency situations and assist consultants in providing life support when required. Conducting detailed medical examinations and making accurate diagnoses are critical functions of this role.
Regular monitoring and adjustment of patients’ diets based on their response to treatments and medications are essential to support recovery. The RMO will oversee hospital operations to uphold high standards of care and operational efficiency.
Collaboration with other Resident Medical Officers is vital to deliver continuous, round-the-clock patient services. In the absence of the consultant on duty, the RMO will assess urgent admissions and attend to casualty calls promptly and effectively.
Daily ward rounds are required to monitor patient progress and coordinate care plans. Additionally, the RMO will supervise and mentor nursing staff, Group D employees, and interns, ensuring smooth hospital functioning and fostering professional development among junior staff.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a medical degree with relevant clinical experience. Proven expertise in conducting medical examinations, diagnosing conditions accurately, and managing patient care effectively is essential.
Experience in emergency response and assisting with life support is required. Strong leadership skills are necessary to supervise hospital staff and coordinate efforts with medical teams efficiently.
The ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide continuous patient care is critical. Competence in assessing urgent admissions and managing casualty situations independently is also expected.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
