Job Summary
A well-established Group of Companies is seeking a skilled Functional Consultant specializing in Financials to join their head office in Lahore. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting and enhancing the company’s Oracle Financials and ERP systems. This role focuses on analyzing financial processes, implementing ERP requirements, and collaborating with various departments to optimize financial operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, capable of managing multiple priorities, and committed to providing effective daily support for financial modules within the ERP system.
Key Responsibilities
The Functional Consultant will be responsible for analyzing and documenting support issues related to key financial processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, and Budgeting. They will gather and implement new ERP requirements to meet the evolving needs of the business, ensuring that the system remains aligned with operational goals.
Supporting ERP system implementations and upgrades is a critical part of this role. The consultant will work to ensure smooth transitions during these changes, minimizing disruption to daily financial operations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to enhance finance-related efficiency and streamline workflows across the organization.
Additionally, the consultant will provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for financial modules within the ERP system, addressing issues promptly to maintain system integrity and user satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience as a Functional Consultant, preferably with Oracle Financials, is required.
A strong understanding of ERP systems and financial workflows is essential to effectively analyze and improve processes. The candidate should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Effective communication skills are necessary to liaise with various teams and stakeholders. The ability to manage multiple priorities independently and work proactively under minimal supervision is also critical for success in this role.
