Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team, specializing in the daily inspection and preventive maintenance of extruders and related mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience troubleshooting mechanical issues, monitoring equipment wear, and ensuring smooth operation through timely maintenance and part replacements. Key Responsibilities
The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for conducting daily inspections and preventive maintenance on extruders and associated machinery. You will troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems efficiently to minimize production downtime. Monitoring wear and tear of critical components such as screws, barrels, and bearings is essential, with a focus on coordinating timely replacements to avoid disruptions in the manufacturing process.

Additionally, you will perform installation, alignment, and calibration of new or relocated mechanical equipment to guarantee optimal performance. Maintaining lubrication schedules for all moving parts is a key duty, ensuring compliance with food-grade lubrication standards and relevant safety regulations. Your role will be vital in sustaining the reliability and efficiency of our mechanical systems.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have proven experience in mechanical maintenance, particularly with extruders or similar industrial machinery. Strong troubleshooting skills are essential, with the ability to accurately diagnose and resolve mechanical faults. A solid understanding of preventive maintenance practices and the ability to monitor mechanical part wear are required.

You should be capable of performing precise installation, alignment, and calibration of mechanical equipment. Familiarity with lubrication standards, especially those related to food-grade machinery, is mandatory to ensure compliance with industry safety and quality requirements.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
