Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Packaging Designer with a strong specialization in flexible packaging and rotogravure printing. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in creating innovative, functional, and visually compelling packaging solutions across a diverse product range. This position demands close collaboration with production teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure designs are optimized for rotogravure printing while upholding the highest quality standards. The role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to deliver packaging that meets both aesthetic and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop creative, high-quality packaging specifically for flexible materials such as films, laminates, and pouches, with a focus on rotogravure printing compatibility. Engage directly with clients to fully understand their packaging needs and translate these into unique and effective design concepts that align with brand identity and market demands.

Ensure all packaging designs are technically feasible for rotogravure printing processes and suitable for large-scale production runs. This includes managing color separations, pre-press preparation, and final artwork production to meet stringent printing standards.

Create prototypes and mockups to visually communicate design ideas clearly to clients, production teams, and other stakeholders. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, printing techniques, and innovations in packaging materials to continuously enhance design quality and efficiency.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, branding, and production to ensure packaging designs support broader business objectives and maintain consistency across all touchpoints.

Required Qualifications
A degree or diploma in graphic design, industrial design, or a related field is essential. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in packaging design, with a strong emphasis on flexible packaging and rotogravure printing processes.

A deep understanding of rotogravure printing technology, including color management and the technical constraints involved, is critical. Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW is required.

Candidates should possess comprehensive knowledge of various packaging materials and their physical properties to ensure designs are practical and durable. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines are vital. Strong communication skills are necessary to facilitate effective collaboration with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience working directly with rotogravure printing houses or packaging converters is highly advantageous. The ability to interpret complex technical artwork briefs and convert them into impactful, production-ready designs will set candidates apart.

Strong organizational skills, a keen eye for color matching, and meticulous attention to detail are highly valued.
