Job Summary
We are currently looking for a diligent and safety-focused Electric Helper to join our team on a temporary contract basis. This role involves assisting electricians and electrical fitters on-site, supporting electrical installations, maintenance, and general site duties. Key Responsibilities
The Electric Helper will assist electricians in various tasks, including laying cables, installing conduits, and pulling wires. Efficient transportation of tools, materials, and equipment to and from work areas is essential to maintain workflow. Preparing and cleaning workspaces before and after tasks is crucial to ensure a safe and organized environment. Under supervision, the helper will support the installation of panels, fixtures, and basic wiring. Strict adherence to safety protocols and consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are mandatory. The role also involves responsible handling of materials, managing inventory, and ensuring tools are well-maintained. Additional general site support duties will be assigned by supervisors or electricians as needed. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times is a key part of the job.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should have completed matriculation, with technical training or short courses related to electrical work considered advantageous. A minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience assisting in electrical tasks, preferably on project or construction sites, is required. A basic understanding of electrical tools, materials, and site safety practices is essential. The role demands physical fitness, as it involves working outdoors or in site conditions and performing physically demanding tasks. Personal attributes such as punctuality, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions carefully are critical for success in this position.
