Job Summary
We are looking for a meticulous and reliable Accounts Officer to join our team at Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing invoice processing, and supporting payroll and budgeting functions. This position demands a strong foundation in accounting principles, proficiency with accounting software, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and precision in all tasks.

Key Responsibilities
The Accounts Officer will be responsible for maintaining and updating financial records within the accounting system to ensure data accuracy. This includes posting financial transactions correctly and verifying that account classifications are accurate. The role involves processing both incoming and outgoing invoices, ensuring that payment terms are adhered to and vendors receive timely payments.

Additionally, the Accounts Officer will track outstanding accounts receivable, actively following up with customers to secure prompt payments. Supporting budget preparation and financial forecasting is also a key part of the role. The candidate will assist in maintaining the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are recorded accurately.

Payroll processing support is another critical responsibility, requiring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The Accounts Officer will also maintain detailed records of employee benefits and deductions, ensuring all payroll-related data is handled with care and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, B.Com, M.Com, BBA, MBA, or a related discipline. A solid understanding of accounting principles and practices is essential. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications is required, with experience in Oracle considered a strong advantage.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. High attention to detail and accuracy in financial work is critical. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders professionally. Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive financial information responsibly is a must for this role.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Preference will be given to candidates residing in or near Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate to facilitate ease of commute and integration with the team. This is a full-time position offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs30,000 to Rs32,000.
