Job Summary
Code District is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator (PMO) to join our growing team. The successful candidate will bring a minimum of two years’ experience in a PMO capacity, with a strong command of agile methodologies to improve project delivery processes. This role is pivotal in establishing and maintaining project management best practices across the organization, ensuring seamless coordination and support for cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for developing and enforcing company-wide project management standards that promote consistency and high-quality results. A significant part of your role involves configuring, managing, and automating Atlassian Jira to align with our project management frameworks. This includes creating and maintaining Jira projects, milestones, backlogs, queries, and generating insightful reports.
Managing the full project lifecycle is central to this position—from initial planning stages through execution and final delivery. You will monitor project progress closely, identify risks early, and implement effective mitigation strategies to keep projects on schedule and within scope. Preparing and presenting detailed status updates and key performance indicators to stakeholders will be a regular task.
You will coordinate project meetings and facilitate clear communication among diverse departments such as design, development, sales, DevOps, and QA. Maintaining comprehensive project documentation and conducting thorough project evaluations will also be part of your duties. Additionally, you will provide training and mentorship on project management best practices and methodologies to team members.
Supporting resource allocation and capacity planning to optimize team productivity is another critical responsibility, ensuring that project demands are met efficiently.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have a strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Kanban. Proficiency in using Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to interact effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary to navigate project challenges and deliver solutions. A collaborative mindset coupled with leadership abilities will enable you to guide and support team members effectively. Educational qualifications should include a background in Computer Science and/or Business, with a focus on project management.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
