Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Project Manager to lead and deliver projects within the Internet of Things (IoT) and Embedded Systems domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle—from initial planning and execution to monitoring progress and project closure. This role demands close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and marketing, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution:
Develop detailed project plans that define scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments. Oversee the execution phase to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and align with project goals.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:
Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Clearly communicate project expectations and provide consistent feedback to team members to drive accountability and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Management:
Engage proactively with all stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, and vendors. Manage expectations effectively and maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle to ensure transparency and stakeholder satisfaction.

Risk Management:
Identify potential risks early, evaluate their impact, and implement mitigation strategies. Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges and minimize project disruptions.

Budget Management:
Monitor project expenses meticulously to ensure adherence to the allocated budget, making adjustments as necessary to avoid overruns.

Quality Assurance:
Ensure all deliverables meet defined quality standards by applying rigorous quality control measures. Track key performance indicators to maintain high-quality outputs.

Project Tracking & Reporting:
Continuously monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders. Utilize project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or MS Project to track tasks, milestones, and dependencies effectively.

Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to refine project management processes and methodologies. Contribute to the development and adoption of best practices within the organization to enhance overall project delivery.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Software Project Manager, specifically within the IoT domain.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or MS Project.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience managing Embedded Software projects or IoT-specific initiatives is highly desirable.
- This is a full-time, in-person position offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs80,000 to Rs120,000.
