Job Summary

Arrak Consulting is looking for a proficient Web Developer with strong expertise in managing and optimizing websites on WordPress and Shopify platforms. This full-time, onsite role requires working night shifts and offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs 80,000 to Rs 100,000, commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will be skilled in using page builders, themes, plugins, and apps to maintain and enhance professional websites, ensuring an excellent user experience and smooth e-commerce operations. This position involves close collaboration with design, content, and marketing teams to support ongoing campaigns and continuous website improvements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and update website content and layouts on WordPress and Shopify platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Customize themes using popular page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, and the Shopify theme editor to meet design requirements.
- Oversee plugins, apps, and third-party integrations to maintain optimal website functionality and performance.
- Optimize product pages and landing pages to improve user experience, site speed, and overall performance.
- Add and update products, categories, and banners on Shopify, ensuring all descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate and up to date.
- Support sales campaigns and promotional activities by implementing timely website updates aligned with marketing strategies.
- Enhance page speed and mobile responsiveness while ensuring the website remains SEO-friendly.
- Conduct regular website maintenance, including plugin and app updates, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues.
- Collaborate effectively with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to meet deadlines and deliver campaign goals.
- Propose and implement improvements based on platform best practices and user feedback to continuously elevate website quality.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with WordPress and Shopify platforms.
- Strong knowledge of page builders, themes, plugins/apps, and related frameworks.
- Proven ability to efficiently manage online stores and website content.
- Familiarity with basic SEO principles and responsive web design techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective time management.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication within a team setting.
- Competency in implementing changes using custom code when necessary.
- Willingness to work night shifts and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field is preferred; however, diploma holders with strong practical experience will also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with design and analytics tools such as Canva, Google Analytics, and Meta Pixel.
- Understanding of e-commerce marketing features including email popups and product filters.
- Basic image editing skills, including resizing and compression.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices related to website deployment, updates, and version control.
- The role requires availability during night shifts to support store operations and reporting.
- Work schedule consists of six working days per week.
- This onsite position offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
