Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and strategic Business Development Executive to join our fully remote team and help expand our footprint within the Amazon ecosystem. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth by uncovering new business opportunities, nurturing strong client relationships, and closing deals with Amazon sellers, aggregators, and brands seeking comprehensive Amazon account management support. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess strong sales acumen, and have a solid understanding of Amazon marketplace dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new business opportunities within the Amazon seller community. You will develop and execute targeted outreach strategies to engage decision-makers at eCommerce brands and Amazon seller accounts. Conducting discovery calls and delivering compelling client presentations to showcase our Amazon service offerings will be a core part of your role.
Managing a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools such as HubSpot or Pipedrive is essential to ensure a consistent flow of qualified leads. You will negotiate and close service agreements while maintaining high client satisfaction. Collaboration with internal teams—including operations, marketing, and account managers—is critical to crafting tailored proposals and solutions that meet client needs.
Additionally, you will attend virtual and industry events to network with potential clients and stay updated on the latest Amazon trends. Monitoring market developments, competitor activities, and client feedback will help you continuously refine and optimize sales strategies.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA will be considered a plus. You should have between 2 to 4 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition, ideally within the Amazon or broader eCommerce industry.
A strong understanding of Amazon FBA, Seller Central, PPC advertising, and account management services is essential. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are required, along with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales KPIs. Proficiency with CRM platforms and lead generation tools is expected.
The role demands a highly self-motivated and proactive individual who can work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience working with Amazon agencies, aggregators, or software providers is highly desirable. Familiarity with third-party Amazon tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or SellerApp will be an advantage. Having an existing network of Amazon sellers or eCommerce brand contacts is a significant plus.
