DSV is looking for a committed professional to join our team full-time, supporting global transport and logistics operations. This role requires close collaboration with client supply chain teams to manage shipment arrivals, ensuring smooth customs clearance and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with client supply chain teams to monitor shipment arrivals and ensure alignment with client expectations. Review pre-alerts and verify all shipment documentation necessary for customs clearance. File advance Goods Declaration (GD) for shipments, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Monitor Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA), obtain quotes, and maintain communication with stakeholders including forwarders, carriers, custodians, and billing parties. Share checklists with clients, secure their approval, and confirm GD filing completion; coordinate with operations for assessments when required. Ensure customs duties are paid either by the client or through DSV finance under Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) terms, verifying credit status. Check Out of Charge (OOC) status and plan shipment releases accordingly. Raise billing instructions, ensure invoices are processed, and dispatch complete document sets to consignees via courier. Scan and archive post-clearance documents in the electronic document system (E-Doc). Manage client PD accounts and perform cost and revenue postings in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems. Follow up with accounts for approval and release of documents to customers. Courier all documents along with debit notes to customers and maintain proof of delivery (POD) files.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with approximately 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the freight forwarding industry. Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with relevant IT systems. Strong analytical skills combined with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
