BAT Pakistan is looking for a committed Data Analyst to join the team on a six-month fixed-term contract. This role is essential in managing data related to New Product Introduction (NPI), Business As Usual (BAU), and obsolescence processes. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Supply & Repack team and coordinate data activities across various functions to support smooth and efficient supply chain operations both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute product data updates and maintenance requests from key stakeholders using existing data request tools and systems, ensuring compliance with source factory specifications, data quality standards, and internal requirements.
- Support the global obsolescence process, which is managed quarterly by the Original Design Manufacturer (ODM).
- Maintain consistent data alignment and flow between ECC and the third-party logistics (3PL) system JDA by performing regular data validation checks throughout the month.
- Prepare briefs for product development initiatives to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Generate Purchase Orders (POs), track timely receipt from suppliers, and manage goods receipt note activities to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Identify process gaps and eliminate non-value-adding activities to enhance operational efficiency in line with the company’s business strategy.
- Utilize Microsoft Visio for process mapping and update workflows as necessary.
- Ensure all business processes adhere to the company’s control policies and strategic objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, particularly in data maintenance or supply chain roles.
- Proficiency in SAP is essential; experience with Power BI is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of product and customer data management processes.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and focused on delivering results.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and perform well under pressure.
- Skilled in reporting, data analysis, and driving process improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
