Intermediate SQA Analyst

We are currently looking for a Junior to Intermediate Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Analyst with strong manual testing skills to join the BuildTopia R&D team based in Karachi. This role plays a vital part in shaping the QA strategy and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software releases while collaborating closely with colleagues locally and in North America.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test cases derived from both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Conduct functional, regression, and user acceptance testing to verify software quality and performance.
- Identify, isolate, and document defects throughout the testing lifecycle, ensuring clear tracking and resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams distributed across different locations to maintain alignment on quality standards and project goals.
- Assist in defining and implementing QA strategies that support product releases and continuous improvement.
- Utilize database knowledge and SQL skills to write and execute queries and scripts as part of testing activities.
- Maintain clear, timely, and effective communication within the team and with relevant stakeholders to ensure transparency and coordination.

Required Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual testing.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Proven ability to create detailed test cases and execute various testing types, including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Skilled in defect identification, documentation, and management throughout the testing process.
- Working knowledge of database concepts and proficiency in writing SQL queries.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with distributed teams.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing positively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
