Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Business Development professional to join our energetic team with a focus on securing projects through Upwork. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of hands-on experience working directly on Upwork, demonstrating a strong ability to craft persuasive proposals that consistently win contracts. This role demands daily active engagement on the platform, excellent communication skills, and close collaboration with internal teams to ensure client requirements are fully understood and met.

Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibility is to actively search for and apply to relevant job opportunities on Upwork every day. You will need to thoroughly understand client needs and customize proposals that address their specific requirements while confidently presenting our services. Building and maintaining relationships with potential clients through Upwork messages and emails is essential to clarify project details and foster trust.

You will also be responsible for optimizing our Upwork profile and any specialized profiles to improve visibility and attract more clients. Collaboration with internal teams is critical to gather accurate project information and ensure consistent and clear messaging to clients. Monitoring and analyzing Upwork performance metrics will help track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Efficient communication and project tracking will be supported by tools such as HubSpot, Apollo, Grammarly, and Upwork’s native features, which you will use regularly to manage multiple client interactions and streamline workflows.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate proven success in writing persuasive proposals that secure projects on Upwork. Excellent written English and strong communication skills are essential for this role. You should have experience identifying potential clients and independently guiding them through the sales process from initial contact to deal closure.

Proficiency in using communication and project management tools to handle multiple client interactions simultaneously is required. Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow up consistently and close deals autonomously are critical to success.

A bachelor’s degree is mandatory. Candidates must be based in Lahore or willing to reliably commute or relocate before starting work, as this position requires in-person attendance at our Lahore office.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with other freelance platforms such as Fiverr or Freelancer.com is a plus and will be considered an advantage. Basic knowledge of software development, including websites, apps, or design, will also be beneficial.

We value a proactive attitude toward continuous learning and growth in business development. This role is offered as a contract or internship position for a duration of three months, with a monthly compensation of Rs35,000.
