Job Summary
HG Marketing is a fast-growing B2B podcast agency dedicated to turning conversations into impactful growth opportunities. We partner with consultants, coaches, agencies, and diverse businesses to produce revenue-generating podcast shows. As part of our expansion, we are looking for a strategic and highly organized Team Lead for Social Media & Podcast Content Operations. This role is essential in optimizing our delivery processes and leading a team of junior social media managers to consistently produce high-quality podcast content across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Oversight:
Lead and mentor a team of junior podcast managers, ensuring efficient scheduling and workload distribution. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide actionable feedback to foster professional growth. Oversee the editing process to guarantee that all content meets client specifications and quality standards. Proactively address delivery challenges and maintain rigorous quality control throughout the content lifecycle.
Workflow & Operations Management:
Create, update, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for content planning, review, and publishing workflows. Collaborate closely with the team to maintain high-quality standards for all client deliverables. Manage task assignments and monitor daily output to ensure deadlines are consistently met. Leverage project management and communication tools such as Trello, Notion, Slack, and ClickUp to streamline operations and enhance team collaboration.
Client Delivery & Content Execution:
Oversee content calendars and publishing pipelines across key platforms including YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts. Plan and execute the timely release of podcast episodes along with supporting video, audio, and written materials. Ensure all content undergoes thorough quality checks before delivery. Regularly monitor analytics dashboards to evaluate performance metrics and align content strategies with client objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work in close partnership with podcast managers, editors, content curators, and creative leads to maintain content quality and client satisfaction. Manage content review cycles, including revisions and approvals, to ensure alignment with client expectations. Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients and internal leadership regarding project timelines, potential issues, and progress updates.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in social media management, including a minimum of 1 year in a leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-platform content and coordinate team workflows effectively.
- Strong skills in content planning, editing oversight, and performance analytics.
- Proven track record of managing multiple clients and meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Analytical mindset with a solid understanding of industry quality standards.
- Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools such as Trello, Notion, ClickUp, and Slack.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related discipline.
- Expertise in platform-specific content strategies for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience in podcast or social media content operations is highly advantageous. This role offers the unique opportunity to blend leadership, operational structure, and creative strategy within a vibrant agency environment. The position is based in Gulberg III, Lahore, with flexible hybrid and remote working options. Working hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, full-time. We offer a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs120,000 to Rs180,000.
