Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Website Developer with strong SEO expertise to join a forward-thinking technology and professional services firm based in Toronto. This is a full-time remote role open to candidates residing anywhere in Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in developing and managing websites across WordPress, Shopify, and custom-coded platforms using HTML, PHP, and CSS3. Adaptability and a quick learning ability are essential, as you will be expected to customize plugins, manage bulk email campaigns, and implement effective SEO strategies to boost website performance and visibility.

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining websites using WordPress, Shopify, and custom coding solutions tailored to project needs. This includes customizing themes, templates, and plugins to meet specific requirements. A critical part of your role will involve implementing technical and on-page SEO best practices to enhance site visibility and search rankings.

Troubleshooting and resolving coding or platform-related issues promptly will be essential to ensure smooth website operation. You will also manage and execute bulk email campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp, Light Mailer, or similar tools, supporting marketing and communication efforts.

Monitoring and analyzing website performance through tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and other SEO software will help you identify areas for improvement. Collaboration with team members across departments is key to delivering projects on time and maintaining high-quality standards.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in HTML, PHP, CSS3, WordPress, and Shopify platforms. Experience with plugin development, customization, and integration with third-party APIs is necessary to meet the technical demands of the role.

A strong understanding of SEO is crucial, covering technical SEO, on-page optimization, and off-page strategies. Familiarity with bulk email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or Light Mailer is also required.

Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to research and resolve issues independently using online resources, are essential. Strong communication skills and effective time management are important to succeed in this remote position. Candidates should have a minimum of one year of relevant work experience in website development and SEO.
