QC/QA Officer

Job Summary
We are actively seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented pharmacist to join our team on a full-time, in-person basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and legality of prescriptions, preparing and dispensing medications, and providing expert guidance on both prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications. Key Responsibilities
The pharmacist will be responsible for thoroughly reviewing prescriptions to confirm their accuracy and compliance with all relevant legal standards. Preparing and dispensing medications accurately according to prescriptions is a core duty, alongside offering professional advice and guidance to patients regarding both prescription and OTC medications.

Maintaining proper stock levels is essential, which includes monitoring inventory, ordering medications from suppliers, and managing the receipt of these drugs. The pharmacist will also be tasked with regularly checking medication expiry dates and handling returns or disposals as necessary to ensure safety and compliance.

A critical aspect of the role involves maintaining precise and up-to-date records for all prescriptions and controlled substances. This responsibility requires strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal protocols to ensure accountability and traceability.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. Additionally, 1-2 years of professional experience within a pharmaceutical company or a similar healthcare setting is required. This experience should demonstrate familiarity with prescription review, medication dispensing, stock management, and regulatory compliance.
