Abid Group of Companies is seeking a Junior ERP Developer to join their Lahore-based team on a full-time, in-person basis. This role is designed for a committed and detail-oriented professional who will support the implementation, customization, and ongoing development of the company’s ERP system. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure seamless ERP operations, provide user support, and contribute to continuous system enhancements. Responsibilities include training staff, troubleshooting issues, and working on system improvements to optimize business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation, customization, and continuous development of the ERP system.
- Provide timely support to ERP end-users by troubleshooting data entry, configuration, and functionality issues, escalating complex problems when necessary.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions for staff across multiple ERP modules such as Accounts, HR, and Revenue to ensure effective understanding and adoption.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive user documentation, including manuals, flowcharts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and video tutorials where applicable.
- Assist in collecting, formatting, and preparing data for bulk import into ERPNext, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate on customization tasks such as scripting client-side validations, designing print formats, modifying workflows, and supporting both front-end and back-end logic.
- Document existing departmental processes and workflows, working with teams to map and align them with ERP functionalities.
- Maintain logs of user feedback, training concerns, improvement suggestions, and track resolution progress to support continuous improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of ERP systems and their functional modules; hands-on experience with ERPNext is a strong advantage.
- Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Jinja templating for basic customizations and validations within ERP systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to conduct user training and explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Attention to detail with a structured and analytical approach to troubleshooting and testing ERP features.
- Quick learner with a proactive attitude.
- Willingness to travel to different locations for training, implementation support, or troubleshooting when required.
