Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive legal support to various business units by collaborating closely with legal, procurement, and compliance teams. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including purchase agreements, non-disclosure agreements, marketing agreements, and service agreements. Conduct legal research and analysis to guide and support business decisions effectively. Assist the legal team administratively and technically by maintaining organized contract records and tracking legal documentation. Prepare necessary documentation for establishing new legal entities and support ongoing statutory filings and license renewals. Stay updated on relevant legal developments and evaluate their potential impact on Careem’s operations.
Required Qualifications
A law degree from a recognized university is essential. Candidates must be fluent in English, both written and spoken. A minimum of two years of relevant legal experience is required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively across teams. The ability to manage shifting priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment is crucial. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are expected. Candidates should be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
